Introduction to CANTERBURY FOOTBALL CLUB INC 2007
Season 2007 sees the Cobras rebuilding with new senior coach Danny Pearce and a group of exciting youngsters learning off a group of experienced veterans, the club is aiming for a strong appearance this year. Success of any long standing suburban football club is dependent upon sound administration, the involvement of the local community, and the financial support of its local businesses.
The sponsorship of the Canterbury Football Club assists with the development of youth, sport and community within Canterbury and surrounding areas. The club draws healthy crowds to all home games of which, four home games are "theme days" including the sponsor's day, premiership reunion day, family and ladies day. Exposure via signage and recognition of sponsors ensures the value to the sponsors is maximised. All sponsors products are vigourously endoursed by the club members and networking has become a very lucrative component of previous sponsor's profits.
